fragile
minting now
I gazed upon the broken form,
Of an old Asian statue, worn,
Its shattered pieces, scattered 'round,
Lay sharp and deadly on the ground.
But then I saw, with great surprise,
A reconstruction, defying demise,
Each piece fitted, one by one,
Until the statue was reborn.
It stood again, tall and serene,
A symbol of resilience, it seemed,
But as I looked down at my feet,
The porcelain shards, I chanced to meet.
They mirrored my own broken past,
The pain and hurt, too long to last,
Yet like the statue, I too found,
A way to rise up from the ground.
So now I stand, with strength and grace,
A testament to life's embrace,
For though I've been shattered, I'm still here,
Reconstructed, bold and clear.
